7:30am head toward Ninh Binh province 120 km south of Hanoi. This scenic province offers many kinds of trips from history, culture to stunning nature. Hang Mua is the name of a cave inside a huge limestone mountain surrounded by lush rice fields and villages. The cave itself is not beautiful, is it. However, on the top of the mountain, it is really, really, really breathtaking.

Driving to the 120th Km, turn right into Trang An complex. Drive through the entrance and around 2 Km. Turn left into Ninh Xuan community and continue 2km journey along the village road, you will see the board saying Hang Mua.

Get into the entrance gate and start your climbing 486 steps/way upto the top mountain. Make sure that you have good walking shoes and you are in good health for this trip, too. This is a private trip, so you are not in hurry. Climb and stop for photos until you get to the top. On the top, you will get stunning scenery of Tam Coc river, rice fields and mountains.

Getting down the same way of 486 steps, if you want to see Mua cave - Dancing cave, take 3 minutes of walk on the right to the cave. However, we do not recommend. Save time for Trang AN boat tour and see 9 caves in Trang AN.

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant before taking a bamboo boat trip along the complex of rivers running through many caves offering the fascinating scenery of Trang An. This area is not only stunning in term of Nature, but also culture centre for Vietnamese to pay the respect to the officials of the Dinh dynasty as you will small but charming temples on the foot of the mountains and on the top as well.

If interested in visiting these temples, you have 4 times to get off your boat or just relax and immerse yourself with stunning landscape of fascinatingly shaped rock formations, water and pagodas.

Your boat trip will go through 9 caves - one is different from the other: Hang Toi, Hang Sang cave, Hang Nau Ruou... Your boat trip takes around 2.5. The 1st to 9th water tunnel caves is in a circle.
