Probaly 1 or 2 temples for the whole Vietnam trip would be good. Museums perhaps little bit too "touristy". Could have had a bit more of a look around each city. Ex: Richshaw tour around Hanoi is very good. Could have done a tour around Saigon, Phnom Penh and SiemReap.

Should have spent one more night in Halong bay. Should have had lunch in the village, so more time in stunning terraced rice fields of Sapa. Anyway, we had wonderful time.

Day 1: Hanoi - Laocai

Your tour guide of Deluxe Vietnam Tours Comapny will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and drive to the station for the night train to LaoCai. Share cabin of 4 berths with other tourists. Private cabin on the train upon request. Or travel to Sapa by tourist bus - departure from Hanoi at 22:00

Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa - Suoi Ho - Ma Tra - Ta Phin

Arriving at Lao Cai train station, you will be picked up by the local tour guide of Deluxe Vietnam Tours Company for the transfer to Sapa town. The journey is getting up the mountain for 55minutes. Getting to Sapa, enjoy the breakfast at a local restaurant.

Your local tour guide will take you to your hotel. Check in if the room is available. Change clothes and walking shoes. Get ready for wonderful experience along the trek from Suoi Ho of black H'mong village to Ta Phin village of the Red Dzao people.

Your local tour guide and car will transfer you from Sapa town to Suoi Ho. Here, start your walking tour along the terraced rice fields. Depending on how strong you are, you can customize today Sapa Vietnam tour with your local tour guide for amazing long trek or short trek.

The long trek will be 4.5 hours off beaten track. The short trek is 2.5 hours. Both of the trek will be sometimes up and down the mountain. Your local tour guide will take you to visit some local homes of the Black Hmong & Red Dzao ethnic people. Your tour guide will be your interpreter on your talk with the host to learn more about their culture and daily life.

Day 3: Cat Cat - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - TaVan

Enjoy nice breakfast at your hotel. Customize your Sapa Vietnam Tours with your tour guide. Amazing off beaten path starts from Cat Cat village to Ta Van village. This long trek takes around 7 hours or 8 hours. The short trek starts from Y Linh Ho to Ta Van will take around 4.5 hours. You will need good trekking shoes.

Get on your private car to be transferred to Cat Cat bridge. Then, trek down to the stream and waterfal. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and the traditional music show of the Northwest ethnic group. Start to climb 300 steps up to the path. Get away from the tourists. You will get lost in the vast valley of Muong Hoa. After 1.5 or 2 hours, you may have a chance to see a local people. We prepare this trek for you to mix with stunning nature in a cotail.

Day 4: Heavens Gate to Sapa valley - Laocai

Talk with your local tour guide for easy or hard trek to Ta Phin village. Met up at your hotel in Sapa by local guide and driver then transferred towards the Silver Waterfall. After a short time to take picture of the waterfall, we continue our drive to the Heaven Gate of Tram Ton which can be considered as the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. Enjoy the marvellous views of Fansipan from the Gate, the highest peak of Indochina.

Then we start our walking trip by going downhill a dirt trail, through bamboo forest of Hoang Lien National Park. Your lunch will be served at a nice spot nearby a river. After lunch, we continue our trek to Sin Chai village, where Community Based Tourism in Sapa takes place. Then we visit the village, inhabited by the Black Hmong people, one of the largest group ethnic minorities in Sapa area. In the late afternoon, we will be picked up by our car for the journey back to your hotel in Sapa.

Drive to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi. Or Take the 15:30pm bus back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi Arrival

5:00 AM in Hanoi station. The end of Sapa tour.
