Trekking from the mountain of Den Thang to Muong Hoa valley: Dethang mountain is located on Ham Rong mountain's Southeastern side and is not to far away from Sapa center. However, most of Vietnam tour operators do not know this charming valley so as well as visitors. Unlike Ta Phin village or Muong Hoa valleys of Lao Chai and Ta Van where the locals have changed much because of the strong influence of tourism, this narrow valley of Hmong people is quiet and non touristic.
You will be met up at your hotel in Sapa by friendly local guide for a short journey to the trekking point. Enjoy 2 hour trekking uphill on a large and rocky path along the narrow valley of Black H’mong two hamlets - Sau Chua and Sa Seng with rudimentary houses, stone wall around homes… It is time to enjoy your lunch.

Say good bye to the local people here, you continue an hour trek along the trail gradually uphill to Hang Da Village at 1,800m height and over looking down the Muong Hoa Valley. Explore the village with a visit to some local homes. Then, enjoy half an hour walk to Thao Hong Den village, offering great view of Muong Hoa Valley. This trek gives chances to take many of the best photos of landscapes. Another downhill hour trek along a dirt track to Pho Village in Hau Thao Commune where you will be picked up the driver for the journey back to Sapa
