Sapa Tour 2 Days/ 1 Night:
Day 1: Hanoi To Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van
Day 2: Tavan - Giang Ta Chai - Catcat - Hanoi

6:30am you will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi for the 5 hour trip up North on the highway Noi Bai - Lao Cai. The journey will feed your eyes with the amazing differences of the North Vietnam delta and North West mountain scenery. In the middle of the way, you have a break for toilet and relax for 15 minutes. Then, continue your trip to Sapa.
On arrival in Sapa, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Next, Check in and change your trekking shoes. You will be picked up by your tour guide for the short downhill trip to Lao Chai village. Your tour guide will stop for a few time for great photos. You will get shock with the stunning scenery along the way.
Being welcomed by local ethnic people after you get off your car. The local people love chatting with you. Trekking down hill for 10 minutes, you will visit a local cottage of Black Hmong family. Your tour guide will help you to discover their culture by visiting the house. You are invited to talk with them with the help from the guide. Leaving this family, you continue your walk to Muong Hoa river. Here, you have chance to take beautiful photos with Mong or Dzao people over the bridge. If you want a cup of coffee, there is a local restaurant on the bank of the river with nice view.
Then, continue walking for 15 minutes from here you will get to a primary school. Take a look at the school to see how the local children study here. It is nice of you to bring some books and pens as the gifts for them. The life is so hard here. Leaving the school, you enjoy your easy walk in the village road to Ta Van village of the Dzay and Black Mong peoples. Take a look at the Dzay house to see the differences with Black Hmong's. It will be nice to have a cup of tea with the host and chat with them.
Ta Van is a so nice village for homestay. If you would like to get really close to the local culture here, it will be a great idea to stay with them and spend some time to do cooking with the host and the next day continue trekking to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao and Black Hmong people
Leaving Tavan village, you enjoy greater trek to Giang Ta Chai village. The trek is up and down the mountain in the trail. You also get through the bamboo mountain. It is harder, but give you great fun. I am sure that it is not for the old people. Arriving at Giang Ta Chai village, you cross the river. Here, enjoy breathtaking scenery. The driver will be waiting for you in the other side of the river and drive back to Sapa town. Along the driving trip back, you will see the trekking route down in the valley to see how great you have done.
Breakfast is served at your hotel from 6:30 to 9:30, so feel free to tell your tour guide the time to start the day before. Enjoy the trek to Cat Cat valley. Highly recommend to walk from Sapa town if you are good walkers. It is because you can stop in many spots(where the car can not as the traffic jam happens) along the way from Sapa town to the gate of the village.
