6:40 am the tour guide and driver of Deluxe Vietnam Tours will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi for the 5 hour journey upto Northwest mountain of Vietnam. Your eyes will be fed with the amazing differences of the Northern delta and NorthWest mountainous scenery along the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway. Have a break in the middle of your way for relax and toilet for 10 minutes. Next, restart your uphill journey to Sapa town.
Arriving in Sapa, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Then, Check in at your hotel for refeshment and change your walking shoes. Your tour guide will see you at the lobby for the afternoon trekking to Cat Cat village - the home of the Black H'Mong people.
If you are excellent walkers, it would be great to walk from your hotel to the village as you can stop in many beautiful spots where cars and buses can not. Your 1st impression of the area is the breathtaking scenery. From the gate of Cat Cat village, there are many downhill stone steps leading to the bottom of the valley where you enjoy the beautiful waterfall in the setting of the nature.
However, before getting there your tour guide will help you to explore the exotic culture of the Black Hmong people by seeing their home. It is called home in the area, but it will make you surprised as it is so simple. No luxury, but very very happy people are welcoming you to see their house. You can talk and ask the local people and your guide will translate for you.
As it is a private Sapa tour package, there is no need to be in hurry. There are many local cottages of different people and if you want to see some different hosts, please feel free to tell your tour guide. Getting to the bottom of the valley offers many beautiful photos of the waterfall and the bridge over the river. Here you can see the traditional music show by Hmong people arranged in the former power station built by the French.
There are 2 ways up the mountain: 1 way is really hard for good health trekkers and the other is much easier - just need 25 minutes to do. But there is no need in hurry. Your driver is waiting for you to drive back to Sapa town. It is a small but charming town where you can explore by yourself without getting lost. Overnight in Sapa.

After breakfast at your hotel, check out for a great trip in Sapa. Your driver and tour guide will pick up you here to amazing valley of Muong Hoa river. The journey from 1600m to 1100m will offer breathtaking scenery from the top mountain to the bottom of the valley.
If you are the hard trekking lovers, start your trekking trip from Y Linh Ho village of the H'Mong people. It offers great fun with such nice scenery, but it is quite hard with many part of buffalo trails and not for old people.
If you are easy trekkers, start your trekking from Lao Chai. However, before getting to Lao Chai, you will stop 3 times for great photos of terraced field and little cottages on the slop of the mountain. Enjoy the easy walk in the village road and visit some local hosts for local life discovery. Getting close to the rice field and seeing local farmers working on their rice field create amazing experience on your Sapa trip.
After seeing a local school for the ethnic children in Lao Chai village, it will take you 15 minutes to the community house located on the side of Muong Hoa river. Enjoy your lunch here and see the local Dzay girls and ladies perform their traditional music and dancing show. It is said that great experience from our clients on Sapa tour with us.
After lunch, restart your easy walk into Ta Van Dzay where the Dzay ethnic group is living. Visit a local home of the Dzay people and have some tea and talks with the host for Dzay culture discovery. After the happy talk, start your uphill buffalo trekking route on the slop of the mountain. you will pass some small cottages of the Black Hmong before getting through the bamboo forest.
Trekking from Ta Van to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao people will take around 1 hour or 1.5 hour depending on your speed, but no need to hurry - the scenery here is so beautiful. Arriving to Giang Ta Chai, you can not miss a change to have a photo on Cau May bridge. Your driver is waiting for you and enjoy the journey to Thanh Kim where you check in at Ecolodge resort. Enjoy the stunning scenery from your room window. Overnight in Thanh kim.
Explore the peaceful and charming valley of Thanh Kim with the trek in the rice fields and drive back to Sapa town for lunch. After lunch, enjoy the journey back to Hanoi. End your 3 day Sapa tour package.
