After informing the local government for your route of touring the remoted village, your tour guide will pick up you for the journey to the Heaven of stunning nature.
On the way to Ta Van - home to the Dzay, Red Dzao and Hmong ethnic peoples, you will get some stop at photo stations for wonderful photos of the terraced paddy fields along Muong Hoa valley. Arriving at Ta Van village, take the 1st visit to Ta Van Mong where the H'mong people is living on the slope mountain. Then, tour Ta van Dzay where the Dzay ethic people is living. It depends on your travel style. Stunning scenery & Off Beaten Track routes. If you want cheaper tours in Sapa and see touristic places, you tour Cat Cat village and Matra - Ta Phin village or Lao Chai - Ta Van on concrete roads which is good for kids and elder travelers
Cat Cat village has changed too much and become very very touristic. There are so many shops - about 500m there is a shop. The price here is also high. There is no cultural relevance with the local ethnic H'mong people. However, this village is good for Vietnamese tourists to come and hire traditional ethnic clothes for photos. There are so many Vietnamese tourists coming here. If you come at their time, you will waste your money and time.
However, there are 2 Off Beaten Track itineraries in which you will pass Cat Cat village on your ways of trekking. The 1st Itinerary: Cat Cat - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan for 2days. Cat Cat - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van for 1day. Cat Cat - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai for 1/2day.
The 2nd Itinerary: Sin Chai Village - Cat Cat Village for 1/2day. Note: These itineraries are not for kids under 9 year old or old tourists.
Matra - Taphin villages It is dirty now because the concrete roads are under contruction. It is so touristic. The local Red Dzao people follow you and try their hard to sell things. Many tourists have felt annoyed. The walking tour is about 1 hour in the village. The Matra - Taphin tour and Taphin village tour are cheap tours and not interesting, but it is ok for the small kids and old tourists. There is an amazing Off Beaten Track from Mong Sen hidden trail to Taphin is wonderful because when your trek finishes in Taphin, your car picks you up and drive back to Sapa.
Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Tavan villages: There are 2 ways to do this tour - 1st way on concrete road & 2nd Off Beaten Track. The 1st way on the concrete road is good for the family with small kids and old tourists. The 2nd way is amazing with Off Beaten Track on the other side of the mountain - trongly recommend if your family have kids from 9 year old and no old people. Sorry for the late reply. There are a few questions that I would like to ask:
1. My trip is from 20/3 -26/3 which is 7D6N.
I will reach Hanoi at 8.15am on 20/3;
and will depart from Hanoi at 9am on 26/3.
Can you help to rearrange Hanoi Halong bay Sapa tour package to include a day trip in Hanoi visiting Ho Chin Min's mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chin Minh museum, Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology.
2. I noted from internet that most of the tour will take a night train to go and back from Sapa but we are going by car instead. I have an elderly mother with me and am worried about the rocky road on the way to Sapa. Will it be possible to switch to taking night train or you would recommend to go by road. We are all afraid of motion sickness if the car to climb up the hill.
3. Considering the changes above, can you kindly resend the quotation to me?

2/ Definitely, I will say - Do not go by train for elderly people because the train is so rocky - the railway was made by French since 1920 and the elderly people can not sleep on the train through out the night. The next day arriving in Sapa, they will feel so tired and can not do anything.
The road is so smooth - it is the highway finished last year. The car and bus can run 100km/hour - This is the best choice at the moment.

We are waiting for the Chau Long Hotel 1 - the Old Wing to confirm as there is only one room left at the moment. One booking will be invalid in 3 days, if that company does not take, you will have the room. The room in the hotel is small enough for 2persons, so you can not stay with 3 person in one room. However, if you request to stay in one room like that, we will arrange. But we advise you to take 2 rooms or other hotels.

The reviews on Bamboo Sapa Hotel are not very good- noisy, without heater in room, bath shower comes in trinkles, no hot water in bath in the morning.
Do you think it is a good idea to stay there. Do make sure rooms have heater and warm bath as we are not used to the cold weather.

I am sure the room has heater and hot water for bath. Day time it is a little noisy as one side of the hotel is near the road. The other side faces the valley. Day time you are on the tour, so no problem.
So far our groups stay there without problems. We still do not get the deposit from you. If on 31st we do not get the deposit, we have to sell the cruise cabin to other clients. As If you do not go, we can not sell the cabin to others. I hope you understand and cooperate with us.

1. Could you provide us with the name of the person and the vehicle number that will be picking us at Hanoi Airport on 7 January. Will he be holding up your company placard or my name.
2. The road from Hanoi to Sapa takes about 5 hours. How many hours will we be on the curvy mountain road. This is to ascertain whether I need motion tablet to keep from feeling nausea.
3. Who should I pay the balance of the ground arrangement to?
