Day 1: Saigon arrival

On arrival at Saigon airport, you will be welcomed by the guide of Deluxe Vietnam Tours and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Saigon

Day 2: Saigon tour – Cu Chi

Today, start your Vietnam tour with a drive to Cu Chi. Enjoy beautiful scenery of the countryside as people work in their rice paddy ans thatched hut villages scattered along the way. Visit a local village making rice paper used to make well-known product spring rolls. On arrival at the tunnels, you will have chances to go underground to see the intricate system of 250km tunnels and learn tactics of revolutionary forces.

Day 3: Cooking tour in Saigon

Day 4: Saigon – Cai Be – Vinh Long

8:00 Departure for Caibe. On arrival, embark on a junk to visit Cai Be colourful floating market, one of best market tours in Vietnam. Then, visit some local home factories like rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies, longans drying processing…. Come back to your junk to Dong Phu, Binh Hoa phuoc islands located between Vinh Long and Cai Be. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River bring about large networks of meandering river, criss-crossed with countless arroyos. Lunch will await you at a fruit orchard and then take a short walk to visit the orchard.

Continue to cruise along the river for beautiful landscapes and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. Stop to see An Binh church and cross the Co Chien river. The tour ends at Vinh Long pier for drive back to Saigon.

Day 5: Saigon – Danang – Hoian

After breakfast, take the flight to Da Nang. On the way to Hoian, stop to visit the open air Cham museum. Then, stop at China Beach. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Enjoy walking tour around the Ancient town of Hoian. Highlights of your walking tour through its charming streets include the Japanese Covered Bridge, the local produce market, Tang Ky house and the Fukhen Association.

Day 6: Hoian – cooking class – My son

Afternoon, explore the 4th century Cham religious sanctuary of My Son, a UNESCO World Heritage Site designated in 1999, highlight of Vietnam tour. My Son was once the political and religious campital of the Champa Kingdom. Practicing a branch of Indian Hinduism, My Son is an exceptional example of Hindu architecture. Day 7: Hoi An – Hue

Drive to Hue. On the way ascend Hai Van pass. Upon arrival, visit former Imperial citadel amd Forbidden Purple City where generations of royalty lived. This was the sight of some of the most brutal fighting during the infamous Tet Offensive.

Highlight of your Vietnam tour today is a visit to Thien Mu pagoda, one of Vietnam’s oldest and most beautiful buddist temples. In this pagoda, you have chance to see the aged pale blue Morris automobile, which transported a local monk to Saigon where he immolated himself in 1963 in protest against the anti-Buddist laws of the Ngo Dinh Diem regime. Day 8: Hue – Hanoi

day 9: Hanoi Cooking Tour

day 10: Hanoi City Tour
