Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

On arrival, you will be welcomed by the tour guide of Deluxe Vietnam Tours and tranfered to your hotel for relax and leisure. Enjoy Welcome dinner in local Vietnamese restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Bustling Hanoi Tour - Flower fields

Morning visit fruit and flower fields prepared for coming new years. After lunch, explore charming Hanoi city with the most remarkable Temple of Literature(First University built in 1070 AD). Continue to tour Hanoi with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum(outside) and One Pillar pagoda built in 1049AD. Today, you also learn buddhism in Vietnam. Explore the most bustling part of the city - Hanoi Old Quarter also well-known as 36 Commercial streets by rickshaw ride. This is amazing to see the lively atmosphere of the crowded streets which are named after the goods being sold … from Fish Street to Silver Street and everything in between. End of your day with water puppet show - wooden-sculptured puppets dance beautifully on the surface water - unusual style of art.

Day 3: Hanoi - Vanlam Agriculture Cooperative

After breakfast, leave Hanoi for Quynhphu agriculture cooperative. On arrival, our agriculture expert will help you discover the biggest wholesale agricultural products in the north of Vietnam. Then, visit vegetable fields. Here, you have chances to talk with Vietnamese farmers and share their farming experience. Our agriculture expert - Mr. Thai will give you the overview picture of the fruit and vegetable sector in Vietnam.

After lunch, more amazing activity is that you and Vietnamese farmers will together cultivate, water, plan and harvest some kinds of vegetables. Here, you also have chances to see one of the most famous pagoda in Vietnam. Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 4: Explore Stunning Tamcoc - Hanoi

Join sampans to explore Tamcoc well-know as Inland Halong bay. Tamcoc is also the place where the famous movie "Indochine" was filmed. The sampans rowed by local people offer many beautiful photos along the rice fields on the side of Ngo Dong river. This place is also famous for photography tours. Enjoy great local food before visiting the ancient capital of Vietnam. Hoa Lu built in 968AD was chosen the captital of Vietnam since then to 1009. Here, you have chances to see the two temple of the Kings Dinh Tien Hoan and Le Dai Hanh. Drive back to Hanoi(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 5: Hanoi - Halong bay

Today is the best day your Vietnam holiday with the spectacular vista during our passage into this magical bay. Enjoy the panoramic view of the bay with red sails arcing elegantly against the skyline before splashing down for a swim. Then, take a seat on a sampan rowed by local girls to explore a fishing village located at pristine coral reef in a scenic lagoon setting. Here, you have chances to interact with some of the more colorful locals who have lived and fished in the bay for almost three generations. Happy faces of the locals, especially the local kids living on a very basic condition will be another gift of your trip to Vietnam. Back to your cruise. Have dinner and then rest of the time in the evening at your own leisure. Overnight aboard. Note: if the tide is permitted, you will visit pearl farm in Halong bay(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 6: Halong bay - Hanoi

Start your new day in Halong bay with Tai Chi class as the sun rises over the bay. Enjoy an elegant breakfast before visitting an amazing limestone grotto. You will learn how amazing nature is its many unique rock formations. Then, back to your cruise to form your final ever-lasting impression of Halong Bay’s awe-inspiring beauty as she sails back to the pier. Drive back to Hanoi, visit Vietnamese herbs farm. Overnight in Hanoi. Note: if there is no disease at that time, we can visit a cow-milk farm(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 7: Hanoi - Huong Khe Agriculture Cooperative

After breakfast, leave Hanoi for Bentrong agriculture cooperative. You will visit some farms of ducks, pigs, checken, fish and rice… Some of these farms belong to Mr. Hai who is also the boss of Deluxe Vietnam Tours. Here, Mr. Thai - our agriculture expert will introduce the model of VAC( V = garden, A = pond, C = coop for poultry/pig/crocodile). He and some other farmers will share their experience on running a farm in Vietnam. Besides a meet with the local farmers, here the group join with the farmers plant rice. You will learn how Vietnamese cultivate rice. Our expert will share the rice cultivation process, rice production, export and difficulty of the farmers in Vietnam.

Day 8: Hanoi - Hue

Take a morning flight to Hue, the former Royal City. Hue was listed as UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site in 1993. The sightseeings today includes the Old Imperial Citadel with Forbidden Royal City. It is a vast complex built in 1800s with a 6‐mile wall and surrounding moat. Here, you will learn the big differences with the Forbidden City in Beijing. Even destroyed through war, today you can still see many monuments to life. First of all, visit the Flag Tower and the imposing Ngo Mon Gate entrance to the complex. Then, followed by the spacious courtyard area visit the Dien Tho Palace, Thai Hoa Palace, Hall of Mandarins and see the original Nine Dynastic Urns. Free shopping in Dong Ba market. Enjoy dinner. Overnight in Hue(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 9: Hue - Hoian

Visit Thien Mu Pagoda - Hue’s most widely recognizable monument with an elegant seven-tiered octagonal tower. Your holiday in Vietnam continues with the most majestic mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc, the most beautiful one of the Nguyen family. Planned by the Emperor and built 16years before his death, the tomb is opulent and exotic. The whole complex is like a romantic park for lovers not for the ancestor. Enjoy your lunch before depart to Hoian with a stop at the dramatic Hai Van Pass and mix yourself with the spectacular views of curving beaches and clear blue East sea lagoons. This is the high dividing line between the climate zones of North and South Vietnam. On arrival, free to see Hoian, a picturesque riverside town. Previously know as Faifo, it was a major South East Asian port during the 17th‐19th centuries. You can find its special old-world retainings. Overnight in Hoian(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 10: Discover Charming Hoian

Explore the local makert to see local farm products. Then, enjoy walking tour around the Ancient town of Hoi An with your guide. Highlights of your walking tour through its charming streets include the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tang Ky House and the Fukhien Association. The tour is followed with a visit to the Phuoc Lien assembly Hall, a 17th century Chinese pagoda. Stop at a Lantern making family to see them making the silk cloth for the lanterns . Free to discover Hoian on your own or relax at many cafes, art galleries or tailor made shops. Overnight in Hoian(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 11: Hoian - Saigon

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Saigon. On arrival, enjoy an orientation tour through many bustling streets en route to the hotel. Your Saigon city tour includes such sites as Notre Dame Cathedral, the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace, the Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 12: Saigon - Cuchi

After breakfast, drive to Cu Chi. Enjoy scenic drive through the countryside as people work on their rice paddies and thatched hut villages scattered along the way. Arriving at the tunnels you will have an opportunity to go underground to see the intricate system of tunnels and learn tactics of revolutionary forces. Upon visit Cuchi tunnell, you have opportunity to shoot AK-47, M-16, M-60, 30 Cal & machine gun. The cost is around 1 – 1,5 USD per bullet (on your account). Here, you also can see people making rice paper, a well known product used to make the delicious spring rolls. Have lunch and drive back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 13: Saigon - Vinhlong - Cantho

8:30 Am leave Saigon with 2hour driving through Mekong delta to Vinh Long town. On arrival, visit to Cai Be floating market. During your cruise, you have opportunities to take many colorful photos of local barges full of fruits and vegetables grown by local farmers. Then, an optional stop can be made at local families to see how they are making rice paper, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn... famous local farm products.

Take a rowing boat deeper into the countryside on smaller canals for amazing experience how the local people travel. More interesting discovery will be made on seeing traditional houses made of palm leaves and wood. Here, you have chances to contact local farmers, to see how they catch fish... After lunch, you will join the local traffic on a rowing boat on small canals to see under the skin of Mekong delta Vietnam. Then, visit a nursery garden, contact famous farmers - Mr Tiger or his son who is very successful in Vietnam agriculture. Continue seeing traditional houses made of palm leaves and wood. Cruise back to Vinh Long town and drive to Cantho city(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 14: Cantho - Saigon

Take a morning boat along the picturesque tributaries to Cairang floating market - whole sale market of Mekong delta. It is said that it is the busiest but nicest one full of barges with many different kinds of fruits and vegetables. See the "Real Vietnam" through the way of trading here. After lunch, drive back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon(Meals: B/L/D)

Day 15: Saigon Departure

Free at leisure and explore Saigon on your own until transfer to the airport for flight home. End of your Vietnam farm study tour(Meals: B)
