Day 1- Phnom Penh Arrival

Upon arrival Phnom Penh International Airport, bus or boat station, you are warmly welcomed by our friendly tour guide and then transfer to check in at hotel. (If arrival flight is late, we can move this trip to next day morning) This afternoon, begin your visit to Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, also known as S21,high school used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces, the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmers Rouges.

Continue your trip with a visit to the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town

Visit Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. The Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings although it is generally understood to be the royal abode of the King of Cambodia.

Day 3 - Angkor Wat Tour (B)

An early morning to avoid the crowd, we head out to visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples which has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very much the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them, it was used as a location in the film Tomb Raider.

Then head back to see the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom, the Great Angkor City, established in the late twelfth century by King Jayavarman VII. We also visit the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King &Baphoun temple

Visit the village and take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia’s biggest natural water body and, one of the largest in Asia. The experience is wonderful as we pass by floating villages, friendly children in small boats and fishermen. Return to city and last visit to "Les Artisans D`Angkor - ChantiersEcoles", this center works with young artisans; the team creates, produces and markets a unique collection of ornamental sculptures, lacquers, silk weavings and silk paintings. Wat Phnom, it is the most significant of all the temples in Phnom Penh. Afternoon, visit the notorious Killing Fields "ChoeungEk" 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. Day 5 - Rolous Group / Banteay Srei/ Preah Khan (B)

After breakfast, head out to the early-Angkor era temples of the Roluos Group, about 15km outside of Siem Reap. Roluos is the site of the first town built by the Angkorian kings in the 8th and 9th century and consists of three main temples: Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko. The beautiful surrounding countryside with its paddy fields and sugar palm trees is very typical for Cambodia.

Continue your visit to Bateay Samrei before travel to the “gem” of the Angkor area, the pretty temple of Banteay Srei, which is best viewed in the warm morning light. The so-called “Citadel of the Women” remains the best-preserved temple in Cambodia. It displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art as this small temple is noted for its truly remarkable fine bas-reliefs. Banteay Srei is unique in that it is constructed of pink sandstone, which is seen nowhere else in Angkor. The experience is wonderful as we pass by floating villages, friendly children in small boats and fishermen. Return to city and last visit to "Les Artisans D`Angkor - ChantiersEcoles", this center works with young artisans; the team creates, produces and markets a unique collection of ornamental sculptures, lacquers, silk weavings and silk paintings. The company promotes fair and sustainable development in order to provide benefits to rural communities. Lunch at local restaurant before go back to hotel.
