Founded by Ngo Minh Chieu in 1926, Caodaism is a syncretistic faith that merges both Eastern, Western religions and philosophical traditions, including Christianity, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Hinduism and Genissm (an indigenous Vietnamese religion).
