By Train: In Vietnam, trains run from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City with stops in Hue, Danang, and Nha Trang. Comfortable for long journeys. Cambodia has limited train service, so buses are more common.
By Bus: Cheap and easy. Buses connect major cities in both countries. You can travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap by bus.
By Boat: In Vietnam, boats and ferries are popular in Halong Bay, Mekong Delta, and Phu Quoc. From Chau Doc (Vietnam), you can take a high-speed boat to Phnom Penh (Cambodia).

How to travel from Vietnam to Cambodia

By Bus: It is not a good ideas to take join-in buses from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to Phnom Penh. It may take about 6 to 8 hours depending on the traffic and starting at rush hours or not. It will be around 12 hours from Ho Chi Minh city to Siem Reap.
By Boat: High-speed boats go from Chau Doc (Vietnam) to Phnom Penh (Cambodia). A good choice for river travel.
By Private Car/Van: We can arrange private car, bus, or van from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap for more comfort. However, we do not recommend to drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap as it is so long. The driving from Saigon to Phnom Penh is fine for those who love seeing the rural life along the way.
