UNESCO heritage site tours from Hanoi

There are 2 UNESCO World Natural Heritage Sites that you are able to see in a day tour from Hanoi, but the best to explore these sites is 2day boat tours.

They are Ha Long bay in Quang Ninh province and Trangan complex in Ninh Binh provice. Halong bay was designated as World Heriate Site in 1994 and Trangan complex in 2014. By car: This is your best bet. You can hire a car with driver from us for a day trip or overnight tours. However, the driver in Vietnam can not speak English and you had better hire a tour guide, too. It takes just 2 hour driver from Hanoi.

By Bus: There is a bus station called Giap Bat(the station for southern destinations). If you want to have the really! really adventure, take the oppotunity to do. Our advice is you should go inside the station to buy the ticket and remember to bring a small bag(no space for big). Do not forget to bring earplugs because you will hear the horn all the time. The public bus drivers will have a car racing on the way to pick up more clients.

By train: If you have short time in Hanoi, it is not a good idea. There are few trains going through Ninhbinh city, but the time is not good for you to explore the sight.
