Day1: Phnom Penh Arrival

Upon arriving in Phnom Penh, meet our representative and you’ll transfer to hotel. Free Day. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day2: Phnom Penh / Historical & Cultural Tours (B)

Breakfast at hotel. We’ll drive to visit Independence Monument commemorates the end of Cambodia's ruled by France in 1953. The famous Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21), this prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.Continue to Cheung Ek, better known as the Killing Fields, where large numbers of people were killed and buried in mass graves. Back to hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. The Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings although it is generally understood to be the royal abode of the King of Cambodia. Spend your last visit to the Central Market (Psar Thmei), a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. The four wings of this gigantic yellow dome are teeming with stalls that sell goods ranging from gold and silver, antique coins, money exchange, books, flowers, food, fabrics, shoes, souvenirs, seafood and countless other products. Then we go to visit Wat Phnom before embark on wooden boat to enjoy sunset over the 4 face rivers & the Mekong Mighty. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day3: Phnom Penh / Kampong Thom(B)

Breakfast at hotel. We departure to Kampong Thom (165km-4hour drives). On the way, we stop at Skun Market or well known as Spider Market to see villager selling many kids of fried Spiders, crickets, silkworms, frog and other insects as well as season fruits. Continue to Kampong Thom town where you’ll go to check in at hotel (room may ready at noon). In the afternoon, drive another 35km to visit pre-angkorian temple, the new listed in UNESCO-world heritage site, Sambo Prei Kuk,the capital of the once powerful Empire of Chenla which predates the Khmer Angkor period. The site was once an old capital named Isanapura and a religious center for the worship of Shiva Brahmanism. Many temples were built in Sambo Preykuk during the reign of King Isanavarman I (AD 616- 635) in the 7th century. The temples of Sambo Preykuk constructed of solid brick, laterite and sandstone and decorated by bas-reliefs. The lintel, pillars and the door frames are all made of sandstone. So far, 140 temples have been discovered in the forest. Overnight in Kampong Thom

Day4: Kampong Thom / Kampong Khleang Floating Village / Siem Reap (B)

Breakfast at hotel. We departure to Siem Reap (167km – 3hrs drives) with visit Kampong Khleang on the way. After 2hour drives, turning off National Road #6 to left side with another 10 – 15min to the boat station, then we board on the motor boat cruising to Kampong Khleang, a floating village located on the northern lake-edge about 55 km east of Siem Reap town. This village can be accessed by boat (during Rainy Season) or drive direct by car in dry season that start around January and finish by early July water leaves the village and the waterway slowly becomes a narrow canal).

Our boat will go through the village to see some of the houses from water level, and to see locals going about their daily life as well as see their fishing materials etc.. The first part of the village is stilted houses but as you progress further towards the lake, the houses disappear and are replaced by mangrove forest and open water. As the water recedes and the land starts to dry out, some fishing families become farmers, growing snake beans and watermelons know as some of the best in the country.

Eventually you will reach the floating houses made up of Khmer and Vietnamese fishing families; Finally we arrive on the main body of the Great Tonle Sap lake; the guide will explain about what makes the lake so special and why it is so important to Cambodian and the whole region. Back to mainland and continue another 1hrs drive to Siem Reap and check in at hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day5: Angkor Temples (B)

Breakfast at hotel 08:30am our guide will pick you up and drive to visit the jungle Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location to film the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Begin tour to the antique capital of Angkor Thom, start from the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to explore Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Last but not least, view a wonderful sunset from Angkor Wat or somewhere possible. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day6: Siem Reap – Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel Transfer to airport for onward flight to next destination. End of Service!
